Our QuickTreX® IP68 Rated Corning Flat Drop Self Supporting Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Singlemode Preconnectorized MTP/MPO Fiber Optic Harness Assemblies with Weatherproof Senko Connectors are a perfect solution for your outdoor harsh environment installations where a sealed connection is a must. The Senko IP68 connectors used on these assemblies are designed to create a IP68 rated fiber optic cable installation. These types of cable installations are often used for fiber to the antenna, outdoor arenas, military applications, and more. We start with genuine Senko® connectors and precision terminate them to genuine Corning® SST-Drop™ Flat Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled cable. These assemblies provide a versatile solution to your IP68 rated fiber optic installation by allowing you to transition to Senko duplex IP68 rated connectors, or standard simplex fiber optic connectors for transitioning from a IP68 Rated side to a standard connectorized side often used in racks and enclosures. Our termination process delivers maximum physical contact for consistently low insertion loss and excellent return loss characteristics. Our assemblies are always proudly made in the USA and include a full test report. We also are ISO9001 certified so you can be assured we follow strict quality control measures during the manufacturing process of your assembly.

These assemblies are designed for use with our Outdoor Weatherproof IP68 Rated Fiber Optic Junction boxes or our Senko Inline Adapters. The junction boxes are populated with Senko IP68 Rated Adapters so you can easily plug your preconnectorized fiber optic assembly with Senko connectors directly into it. For the inside of the box we offer cassette harnesses to transition from a MTP connector to a LC. The use of a Senko IP68 rated connector and adapter creates a IP68 rated seal keeping out water, dust, and other contaminates that can affect the coupling of your fiber optic connectors.
The Outdoor (OSP) Gel-Filled Corning® SST-Drop™ cable used for these assemblies is rated for almost all outdoor applications. This cable is unique since it's self-supporting, meaning it can be installed aerially without a messenger wire while also being durable enough for direct burial installations. If directly burying and rodents are a concern, we do recommend using our armored outdoor direct burial cable or using a conduit for extra protection. This cable is also perfect for installations inside conduit and pathways that are subjected to wide temperature variations or secured to a building or other permanent outdoor structure. It's rugged all dielectric design makes it a popular choice for a variety of outdoor installations. If installing in conduit we recommend using at least a 2 1/2" diameter conduit to accommodate for the assembly breakout.
Standard QuickTreX® Manufacturing Features:
- Fast Custom ISO 9001 Certified Manufacturing in the USA.
- Each assembly includes a wrap around-label on both ends of the assembly which will include the QuickTreX® part number and individual serial number.
- Each Assembly includes a full test report. During our testing process all fiber ends are visually inspected with a fiberscope of 400 power or better for surface defects including, cracking, pitting, and scratches, on the glass surface of the connector. All connector ends are then tested utilizing a professional grade Loss Test Set
- The test report is saved in our database for 1 year and can be requested at any time.
- Pulling Eyes (pulling baskets) if equipped are made from super strong polyethylene mesh and feature a free-spinning buckle to eliminate twisting of the cable during the pull. Heat shrink tubing is used at: 1. Where the basket meets with the turnbuckle (pull eye hook) 2. Where the basket ends and connects with the cable jacket to prevent snags and promote a smooth pull.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
