LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!

Tom personally reached out to me, took ownership of the situation, and worked to get my order resolved. He communicated with me directly, ensured the order was shipped, refunded the shipping charges, and provided a discount for the inconvenience.

1993
ATCOM SERVICES INC. WAS FOUNDED
Atcom Services, Inc. was founded in 1993 as a structured cabling design, installation, and consulting firm. We specialized in providing these services to an array of "Fortune 500" organizations.
1994
DISTRIBUTION AND MANUFACTURING EXPANDED
In 1994, we became a corporate member of BICSI, and soon after had an in house certified RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer). In 1995, through our extensive contact base in the industry, we made a natural progression into distribution and manufacturing.
1996
OUR E-COMMERCE PLATFORM WAS LAUNCHED
In 1996 we took the distribution further by becoming the first to our knowledge! company in the structured cabling and connectivity industry to offer full E-commerce capability.
1999
LANshack.com WAS CREATED
In 1999, in an effort to make our website name and URL, more closely match our online store, we acquired the name "LANshack.com". "LANshack.com" is a division of Atcom Services, Inc. The URLs "www.LANshack.com" and "www.atcomservices.com" are synonymous.
2008
QuickTrek® WAS INTRODUCED
In 2008, QuickTreX was created as a division of Atcom Services Inc. and LANshack.com. QuickTreX was created as our own brand focusing on premium quality custom copper and fiber optic assemblies made in the USA. We also entered into the market of premium tools, connectors, and other DataComm products.
2010
BECAME A WOMAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS
In 2010, our Management and Ownership Team shifted to a Woman Owned Small Business. We are proud to have a diverse and knowledgeable team working with LANshack.
2018
ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION ACHIEVED
In 2018 we became ISO 9001 certified. Quality Control and good Customer Service was always at the forefront of everything we do here at LANshack, but the ISO 9001 Certification ensures that everyone on our team is trained properly and that we operate under a robust Quality Management System.
