Our High Density QuickTreX® 3 panel (1U) Swing Out Rack Mount LGX Chassis Fiber Optic Splice Box Enclosure with Splice Tray is designed for interconnectivity and termination of optical fibers. It is perfect for small and medium installations such as FTTZ and FTTB. It's formed with high quality cold rolled steel sheet and sprayed with electrostatic black matte paint. This fiber optic splice box includes two stacked 12 fiber splice trays for a clean and organized install of your fiber optic fusion splices. It includes a 90 degree swing out rotary tray for easy access and installation of your fiber optic splices and connect. Included in this fiber optic splice box are four 21mm cable inlets at the back of the panel. The dust apron can be cut according to usage.
This product can support a wide array of up to three LGX dimensioned termination panels, modules, or cassettes. It's designed to fit standard 19" racks or 23" racks. Included is a set of rabbit ear brackets to mount this box to 19" and 23" racks. Also included are cable ties, heat shrink fusion splice sleeves, and screw and nut sets.

What is a fiber optic enclosure?
A fiber optic enclosure is a protective housing designed to organize, manage, and safeguard fiber optic connections, splices, and terminations. It acts as the central point where fiber optic cables are brought together, connected, and distributed while ensuring protection from environmental, mechanical, and handling damage.
What is a rack mount fiber optic enclosure?
Rack mount enclosures are designed to be installed in standard 19" or 23" racks in telecommunication rooms/closets or data centers.
What are the different types of chassis in fiber optic enclsoures?
The three main chassis are LGX, SHD, and UHD. LGX is the most common and standardized chassis type.
What does the 1, 2, 4, 6, or 12 "U" mean when talking about rack mount fiber optic enclosures?
The "U" stands for rack unit and it’s the standard measurement used to describe the vertical space equipment takes up in a 19 inch or 23 inch equipment rack. 1U equals 1.75 inches in height.
How many fiber strands can fit into a fiber optic enclosure?
The amount of fiber strands that you can fit into an enclosure will depend on how many panels or adapters you can fit and what type of connectors you choose. For example, if you choose a 1 panel enclosure and use a 12LC adapter panel, you can house or couple 12 fibers in that enclosure. If you use 12 MTP/MPO adapter panel, you can house or couple 144 or 288 strands depending on whether the MTP or MPO connector being connected is a 12 or 24 fiber connector.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
