Our QuickTreX® 4 panel (1U) Rack Mount Ultra High Density (UHD) Chassis Patch Panel is for interconnectivity and termination of optical fibers. It's especially perfect for ultra high density fiber installations often seen in data centers, campus server rooms, and other similar settings. This fiber optic patch panel can hold up to (4) 12 fiber MPO adapter panels or MPO cassettes. With that said if, using 24 fiber MTP or MPO cables, it can hold up to 1,152 fibers all inside a 1U rack space. This panel truly provides an ultra high density option for coupling your backbone fiber optic assembly and fiber optic patch cables. You can also mix different types of fiber optic connectors and we offer also offer blank plates for panel slots that are not used.
This fiber optic patch panel also includes a built in cable support / management bracket so you can secure and route your cables through the back of the panel. The bracket includes both grooves for hook and loop cable straps and oval holes for routing cables up and down.
This product can support a wide array of up to (4) UHD (Ultra High Density) chassis style adapter panels. It's designed to fit standard 19" racks.

What is a fiber optic enclosure?
A fiber optic enclosure is a protective housing designed to organize, manage, and safeguard fiber optic connections, splices, and terminations. It acts as the central point where fiber optic cables are brought together, connected, and distributed while ensuring protection from environmental, mechanical, and handling damage.
What is a rack mount fiber optic enclosure?
Rack mount enclosures are designed to be installed in standard 19" or 23" racks in telecommunication rooms/closets or data centers.
What are the different types of chassis in fiber optic enclsoures?
The three main chassis are LGX, SHD, and UHD. LGX is the most common and standardized chassis type.
What does the 1, 2, 4, 6, or 12 "U" mean when talking about rack mount fiber optic enclosures?
The "U" stands for rack unit and it’s the standard measurement used to describe the vertical space equipment takes up in a 19 inch or 23 inch equipment rack. 1U equals 1.75 inches in height.
How many fiber strands can fit into a fiber optic enclosure?
The amount of fiber strands that you can fit into an enclosure will depend on how many panels or adapters you can fit and what type of connectors you choose. For example, if you choose a 1 panel enclosure and use a 12LC adapter panel, you can house or couple 12 fibers in that enclosure. If you use 12 MTP/MPO adapter panel, you can house or couple 144 or 288 strands depending on whether the MTP or MPO connector being connected is a 12 or 24 fiber connector.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
