Our QuickTreX® Extra Heavy Duty 6 Panel Steel Indoor / Outdoor Fiber Optic Enclosure with Wall / Pole Mount options, LGX Chassis, 3 x 12 Fiber Splice Trays, Splice Sleeves, and Locking Door with Key is perfect for interconnectivity and termination of optical fibers in outdoor harsh environment locations. It's made of heavy gauge special coated steel providing a superior UV and waterproof protection of your fiber optic connectors and splices. It also includes stainless steel door hinges to withstand harsh outdoor elements. This enclosure is without a doubt the most crush resistance and durable box we offer. It is compatible with all standard LGX adapter panels. This 6 panel outdoor fiber optic enclosure includes wire management rings to easy spool your cable inside the box. It also includes three removable 12 fiber splice trays so you can use it for splicing fiber pig tails or for pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies. The enclosure includes an excellent sealing strip, rubber gromets, and cable glands to help seal out moisture and dust. It also includes a lockable door and special grooved locking nut with key to help protect from anyone accessing the box. This box is also great for indoor installations such as warehouses, factories, and heavy industrial settings where lots of dust and potential contamination takes place.

Questions & Answers
Where type of environment can wall mount enclosues be installed in?
That will depend on the type of enclosure and the material used. We offer both indoor enclosures and indoor/outdoor enclosures. Indoor enclosure can be installed in outdoor large general enclosures such as a NEMA box but our indoor/outdoor enclosures are designed for outdoor use. They are weather resistant and include gaskets to seal out dust and moisture.
Why do some fiber optic enclosure say adapter and some say panel?
The enclosures that say adapter are designed to only house fiber optic couplers/adapters. Some will either accept flanged adapters and some will only accept non-flanged adapters. The enclosures that say panel are only designed to fit adapter panels. All of LANshack's panel enclosures accept LGX chassis style adapter panels.
What is a wall mount fiber optic enclosure?
A wall-mount fiber optic enclosure is a compact protective box that mounts directly to a wall or other flat surface to manage, protect, and organize fiber optic cables and connections. It’s commonly used in smaller installations, building entry points, or places where rack space isn’t available.
What does UHD stand for?
UHD stands for "Ultra High Density" and provides the most compact connector layout or footprint on the adapter panel. UHD enclosures or panels can only accept UHD adpater panels or cassettes.
What does SHD chassis mean?
SHD stands for "Super High Density" and provides a more compact connector layout or footprint on the adapter panel. SHD chassis enclosures can only accept SHD adapter panels or MTP/MPO cassettes.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
