These HDMI active optical cables incorporate fiber optic technology into standard HDMI cables. These HDMI AOC cables include optoelectronic modules that convert electrical signals to light signals. These cables include an advanced chipset that allows the cable to provide a full 4K at 60Hz (up to 75Hz) over long distance runs and support 18Gbps of bandwidth.
NOTE: These cables must be installed in the correct direction. The source end of the cable which is labelled connects to the device providing and sending the signal. The display end of the cable then connects to the device receiving the signal such as a TV, projector, monitor, etc.

Hi Raymond, We sent you an RMA over a week ago on 12/30/2025. It may have gone to your junk mail. We have the email sent to prove it. We also could have easily helped you out from a technical standpoint. These cables really always work. You probably had the display and source backwards. LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!

Tom personally reached out to me, took ownership of the situation, and worked to get my order resolved. He communicated with me directly, ensured the order was shipped, refunded the shipping charges, and provided a discount for the inconvenience.
