For rapid deployment of copper cabling our QuickTreX® Cat 6A Shielded Tactical and Rugged Ethernet Assemblies are designed to withstand the harshest of environments. They are excellent for setting up temporary networks needed for test result gathering, demonstrations, concerts, festivals, or any other outdoor event. They are also excellent for a backup backbone to your critical network and are rated for 10 gigabit speeds. Our Tactical and Rugged Assemblies come on optional heavy duty Schill deployment reels offered in two different options. These Ethernet assemblies are designed to be quickly deployed and retrieved. The GT310 Schill reels includes a door which houses the back end of the connectors connectors for safe and secure storage while not in use. The GT235 Schill Reel is slightly smaller in size and holds up to 230ft of cable. This reel does not have a hinged door but instead includes ears to wrap your back end of the cable around.
The cabling used for these tactical Ethernet assemblies has a continuous flex-cycle, and tactical grade industrial polyurethane jacket which withstands harsh environments and is widely known as the best in cut, abrasion, and moisture resistance. These cable assemblies are double shielded for increased signal isolation to prevent outside interference and offer tighter specifications for eliminating crosstalk and noise.
We offer both standard shielded RJ45 connector and the Neutrik etherECON® cable connector which is a conventional RJ45 connector that offers an extremely robust water-resistant lockable solution when mated with a compatible Neutrik etherCON chassis connector. The Neutrik etherCON® connector has a circular hard metal shell and a locking latch. The cable plug is always male and is designed to fit standard female etherCON panel connector chassis. The chassis connector allows for use with both an etherCON connector and a standard RJ-45 plug.

Deployment Reels:
We have 2 different options depending on the length of your assembly. Please choose the correct one per the length of your assembly. Each reel is sized to hold a certain length. We also have a no reel option for shorter lengths, and a basic shipping spools for situations where a deployment reel isn't needed.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
