Our Commercial-Grade Outdoor Water-Resistant Patch Cable Cap is specifically designed for use with our Cat 6 commercial-grade outdoor patch cables, couplers, and jacks. It allows for a water-resistant and dust proof conntection and is perfect for commercial, industrial, or outdoor environments where your Ethernet cables are susceptible to water, grease, dust, and other contaminants. This connector cap is designed to slide over any standard Ethernet cable and provide a water tight and dust proof connection when threaded onto one of our outdoor couplers or jacks.
They are great for factories, warehouses, machine shops, arenas, conference halls, outdoor arenas, and anywhere else your network cabling may get wet or contaminants on them. They are truly rugged and manufactured to weather tough conditions.

Questions & Answers
Are there end caps to use when not being used?
No they do not include end caps considering they are typically only use to create a waterproof seal for permanently installed cables. We do sell RJ45 dust caps though.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
