This Neutrik opticalCON Duo Chassis Connector is designed to accept opticalCON Duo connectors.  The backside of this connector is designed to accept a standard LC Duplex conncector or two LC Simplex connectors.  This connector acts as a "feed-through" allowing simplified installations by connecting a conventional LC-Duplex on the rear.  It has black chromium plating, 4 solder contacts, and 1 LC-Duplex feedthrough socket. It is waterproof acc. to IP65 when mated with a opticalCON connector on the front side.  

It is built in the standard D size shell and features an automatic sealing cover for maximum dust and dirt protection, and a Push-Pull locking mechanism for safe connection. Colored sealings are included to identify the fiber mode.

Options:

  1. SCDP: This sealing gasket provides a dust and water resistant assembly for all D-shape chassis connectors for front panels.
  2. SCDX: This hinged cover seals D-size chassis connectors from water, dust and dirt in unmated condition according to IP42.
  3. SCCD: The spring-loaded cover SCCD-W shuts automatically after unplugging the cable connector and seals the chassis connectors against dust and water to IP65. The transparent cover allows you to see the protected chassis connector all the time.
  4. SCD-NC: Rugged rubber sealing cover for opticalCON chassis connectors. Fiber applications as drop down or stage boxes and certain outdoor devices require an additional protection of the opticalCON chassis connectors. The sealing dust cover encloses the entire shutter group and completely protects the interior from pollutant and ingress of water. It can be mated with the cable connector cover to keep the interior clean.
  5. SCNO-FDW-A: Rugged, all metal sealing cover for opticalCON chassis connectors. Fiber applications as drop down or stage boxes and certain outdoor devices require an additional protection of the opticalCON chassis connectors. The sealing dust cover encloses the entire shutter group and completely protects the interior from pollutant and ingress of water. It can be mated with the cable connector cover to keep the interior clean.
