Our QuickTAC 2-Strand 1000FT Tactical Fiber Optic Cable Assembly from QuickTreX® is engineered for demanding field applications where reliability, ruggedness, and rapid deployment are essential. Built with a tough polyurethane (PU) jacket, this singlemode tactical cable delivers exceptional durability while maintaining the flexibility needed for repeated setups and tear-downs in mission-critical environments.
Each assembly features two (2) individually jacketed 3mm strands, sequentially labeled for fast identification and streamlined connectivity in the field. Strands terminate in high-precision LC UPC connectors protected by aluminum connector shell sleeves, ensuring long service life and enhanced resistance to impact, abrasion, and environmental exposure. This assembly includes 1 foot breakouts on both ends of the assembly.
To make field deployment effortless, the assembly ships pre-installed on a heavy-duty deployable reel equipped with a cable bale, handle, auxiliary spool, spool lock, and integrated Velcro cable strap. This outdoor professional-grade reel system allows operators to transport, deploy, and retrieve the cable quickly, even across rugged terrain.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
