The QuickTreX® Cat 8 Shielded Modular Plug delivers superior performance for the most demanding high-speed data applications. Engineered for precision and reliability, this plug is designed to support Cat 8 FTP (Shielded Twisted Pair) cabling systems, ensuring optimal signal integrity and minimal crosstalk even in electrically noisy environments.
Constructed with transparent PC housing and boot (UL94V-2 rated) and high-conductivity brass contacts plated with nickel and gold, this modular plug provides exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. It features a long-body design with a 4-up / 4-down load bar, simplifying conductor alignment and ensuring consistent terminations for both solid and stranded 22–24 AWG wire.

- Mechanical Endurance: Rated for 750 insertion cycles minimum.

Important Note: You must use our large OD Cat 8 RJ-45 Crimping Tool for these plugs. A standard RJ-45 Crimper will not work with these modular plugs. These plugs have been tested to work with our QuickTreX® Cat 8 Cable. Please check specifications prior to using with other cable.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
