It works perfect on newer larger outer diameter cable which includes Category 8. It's a must have for cat 8 installations and works perfect with our QuckTreX Cat 8 Shielded Cable. This cable stripper includes an adjustable knob for setting different insulation diameters making it perfect for cutting and stripping Cat 5, 6, 7, and 8 Ethernet cable prior to terminating with modular plugs or keystone jacks. Another excellent feature is that is equipped with a regulator that prevents scoring of the inner cable conductors. It also includes a durable cutting blade for creating the initial clean cut.
