The QuickTreX QT-SM-SFSFP-10G-10KM-KIT is a high-performance 10 Gigabit bidirectional (BiDi) SFP+ fiber optic transceiver kit designed for reliable 10G connectivity over a single strand of singlemode fiber. This kit includes a matched pair of transceivers that transmit and receive on complementary wavelengths (1270nm/1330nm), allowing full duplex communication over one fiber instead of two, making it ideal for environments where fiber availability is limited.
Supporting data rates up to 11.3Gbps and transmission distances of up to 10 km, these hot-pluggable modules provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for enterprise networks, data centers, and telecom applications. The modules are built in the standard SFP+ form factor with LC simplex connectors, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment including Cisco-compatible platforms.
Engineered for reliability, the modules use DFB laser transmitters and PIN-TIA receivers and include Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time performance monitoring such as temperature, voltage, optical power, and bias current. With low power consumption (<1W), strong EMI protection, and compliance with major industry standards, this transceiver kit delivers dependable high-speed optical networking performance.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
