Our 12 Fiber Singlemode MPO®/MTP (1 X 12) Gender Changing Kit allows you to quickly and easily change the gender of your MTP or MPO cable from Female (No Pins) to Male (Pins). It's great for cables that have a male connector but require a female MPO or MTP connector.  This kit offers low loss and high precision couplings of your existing MTP or MPO cable.

About the Cable: The cable includes bend insensitive 9/125 singlemode glass and a riser (ONFR) rated jacket.  MPO connectors are interchangeable with MTP® connectors.  This fiber optic patch cable features MPO APC Male (Pins) to MPO APC Male (Pins) connectors. The connectors are high quality, standard APC polished, and 100% factory tested and come with a test report. Typical insertion loss is <0.35dB and return is loss >65dB.  These cables include a standard Method A straight through pin out.

About the Coupler: This Singlemode MPO/MTP APC Coupler is designed to provide a precise coupling of MPO/MTP fiber optic cables.  It includes a key up - key down orientation.  This coupler simply works by plugging a female and male MPO or MTP connector together.

I have used LANshack for custom pre-terminated fiber assemblies for a couple of years now. The quality of the product is top notch. Setting up a new building and ordered this 1200' to connect 2 buildings together. Great termination quality. Zero issues installing and connecting. Connection lit from the start. Thank you very much.
