This 16-in-1 OTDR Fiber Optic Tester is a powerful, all-in-one diagnostic tool designed for fiber optic technicians, installers, and network professionals. Combining OTDR testing, optical power measurement, light source, visual fault location, and copper cable testing into a single handheld unit, it provides everything needed for efficient fiber and network troubleshooting in the field.
With an OTDR testing range of up to 80 km, this unit delivers accurate fault location, event mapping, and loss analysis for singlemode fiber networks. The intuitive touchscreen interface and built-in event map simplify testing by clearly identifying breaks, bends, connectors, and signal loss along the fiber link.
In addition to OTDR functionality, the integrated 10G Optical Power Meter (OPM), Optical Light Source (OLS), and Visual Fault Locator (VFL) enable complete end-to-end fiber testing and verification. The built-in RJ45 cable tester also allows for quick copper cable continuity and wiring checks, making this a versatile tool for both fiber and network technicians.
Designed for field use, this tester features a rechargeable high-capacity battery, onboard data storage with report export capability, and a rugged, portable design suitable for demanding environments.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
