This QuickTreX® Fiber Optic Emergency Repair Kit is great for installing fiber optic quick connectors or mechanical splice connectors. This kit includes all the essential fiber optic tools needed. All the tools included in this kit are professional grade and have been thoroughly tested by professionals for premium performance. It includes the following: fiber optic jacket stripper stripper, fiber optic cladding and acrylate coating stripper, Kevlar scissors, cleaver, cleaning fluid, lint free wipes, and tool bag.
NOTE: Although they can be used for it, we do not recommend quick connectors for permanent installations. They are perfect for getting your network up and running until high grade connectors are installed or fiber optic pigtails are spliced on. Quick connectors do not provide as precise connections as superior lab connectorization. The precision and glass alignment of quick connectors can change over time due to temperature variations.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
