Coaxial RF connectors maintain the shielding of the coaxial cable, and are designed to work with radio frequencies. The fastening mechanism allows for high mating cycles and a reduction in the insertion force. UHF (or Ultra High Frequency) are frequencies between 300 MHz and 3 GHz. This connectors utilizes the solder method for termination.
If performed properly, the solder method it is also one of the most reliable connections and can be used on cable with solid or stranded center conductors. If metals and plating of contacts and cable center conductors are compatible and solder-able, and, if the technician is skilled in this type of installation, solder connections can be expected to perform for long periods of use.

LANshack: Best custom CAT8 ethernet cable on the market!
I needed a custom 55 foot S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair) CAT8 indoor ethernet cable for ethernet backhaul between two Eero mesh routers. I did tons of research (including Grok) and I came across LANshack.com. They have the thickest 23AWG wire in their custom CAT8 cable vs 26AWG on Amazon (lower number is thicker; 23AWG wire has roughly twice the cross-sectional area of 26AWG). Excellent price per foot, and this cable is thick! Very quick turnaround once you order from them. I am very pleased with LANshack and I will order from them again for future projects!
